One such opportunity that was identified is the food delivery business. Shemaroo not only saw this area as a suitable business vertical but also a perfect brand fit considering the trend of combining popular culture with food has always seen affinity not just in India but around the world.
The challenge was to craft a unique brand experience that is really authentic and stands out in a contested market like F&B by not ending up being just another kitschy pop brand on the Bollywood bandwagon.
We helped the brand craft this unique brand design that makes people feel the same values of vibrancy and nostalgia that are core to the Shemaroo brand. The aim was to delight people with each touch point; from packaging to food to every piece of communication and connect them with a truly bollywoodized experience.
Along with setting the brand communication and visual tonality, we created well-thought out branding and packaging. While making the outside of the packaging a visual treat, the inside was filled with bollywood trivia and facts. The results of our strategic communication and branding campaign lead to an overwhelming response and a much desired surge in launching India’s First Bollywood food delivery restaurant.
